Article 324 deals with the Election Commission. It vests the power of superintendence, direction, and control of the preparation of electoral rolls and the conduct of all elections to Parliament, to the State Legislatures, to the Office of the President, and to the Office of the Vice-President in an Election Commission. It forms the constitutional basis for the ECI's existence and authority.
